Q: Could you tell the history of the band and the lineup?
A: No! Absolutely not. What kind of dull, and stupid question is that?
Who would be interested in the past (when it comes to Mord) when we´ve
got the future to look forward to?
Q: You seem to be a band with alot of humor. Any comments?
A: Any comments? Hahaha! We are not humorous in anything we do. Everything
is 110% serious, since we are a metal band and not a comedy act. I fail
to see exactly what things you find funny and it really pisses me off!
You´d better watch your tounge for everybody knows that we, the
members of Mord, are the true masters of destruction.
Q: The songs on your first demo "We´ve got the Guts"
are very different from eachother. How come?
A: You are absolutely right! The first version which you are talking
about (where there are only five songs) features tracks which are very
different from eachother, both in style and feeling. On the newest songs
we have tried to take it one step further, developing our music, all
in the name of horror metal. This is because we as song writers have
so many creative ideas which we want to express. We also feel that an
album with a band whom only writes similar songs, or in the same style,
tends to get a bit booring.
Q: When will you play your first live show and what is the ultimate
gig for you guys?
A: We´ve already done several gigs and recieved very good response
for our act. We made one gig at my sisters wedding where we apart from
our own songs performed covers of Deicides "Sacrificial Suicide"
and Morbid Angels "Chapel of Ghouls". It was a huge success
and one of the bridesmates tried to stab the groom with a fork, due
to the extatic feeling that overwhelmed her. The dream gig would be
to play at the Skogskyrkogården in Stockholm with GWAR as opening
act!
Q: When can we expect to see a Mord album on the market?
A: When ever we feel like it! No, seriously! We are currently in negotiations
with a few record lables, but we have very high demands, since we are
well aware of the capacity of our music and there are no guarantees
that these labels accept them. Time shall tell!
Q: You have been like the biggest underground sensation for many, many
years, here in Stockholm. Everybody is talking about Mord and it is
simply impossible to score with a chick if you do not know of Mord.
Why do you think that is?
A: A combination of supreme music and members that puts word into action
(regarding the ability to smash and crash stuff). It is as simple as
that!!
Q: What are your favourite bands, zines and records.
A: Another standard zine question! Yawn!!! I can only speak for myself,
but your zine certainly does not qualify for the top 1000 zines around.
I used to read Hymen alot in my younger years, so I´d have to
say that one, since I only read books nowadays. Favourite band: Korrozia
Metalla! Sadly/fortunatley these records are really rare and not many
get to hear them. "Nicht Kapitulieren" is my favourite. Other
great band are: Citron, Destroyers and Masters Hammer.
Q: I´ve heard that Mord are in a feud with black metal band Mörk
Gryning. Is this true and in that case: why?
A: Yes, that is correct! We will mash those wimps if they ever dare
to show their faces outside their homes. This conflict is deeply rooted
within our souls and we will never forget nor forgive what they have
done. There are rumours flourishing that the geeks of Mörk Gryning
have sabotaged a Mord gig, and they seem to be very proud of that rumour.
However; it is just a rumour! What really happened was that we kicked
their asses, ever though we were two against four and prevented them
from entering the gig all together. They deserve to die! Enough said!

A: Good luck with the zine (You´ll need it!) Look out for Mord
releases and keep the voilence alive! Always remember that trashing
things is the second best thing there is!
